Uplifted is a dynamic Southern Gospel group that blends the old and new songs to present an inspiring and exciting program to audiences of all ages. Brought together through many prayers, members of Uplifted have dedicated themselves to spreading the gospel through song.
The Uplifted ministry was born more than a decade ago with the group taking its name from John 12:32. Our aim is to "uplift" the name of Jesus Christ. Our ministry is to reach lost souls by presenting our music as a witness for our Lord and Savior. Uplifted is one of very few groups to have performed on virtually every major concert venue in the state of Alabama.
Uplifted is involved in many different activities throughout the year. The main event is a Pigeon Forge trip. The Smoky Mountain Gospel Music Fest which is every November.
Uplifted records with Cross & Crown Recording Co. and is on the MorningStar Label. The latest project being “Renewed" is compiled of some of the “Old Favorites”, along with new ones. Songs are aired on all the local radio stations, including WXJC, with our friend, Wayne Wallace. Many have requested Uplifted’s music including many Southern Gospel Internet and Satellite Radio Stations.
CMT from Nashville requested “The Old Time Way” video for play on their television program. Other television stations have used the video, also.
Uplifted’s goal for 2010 is to further the gospel in song and uplift the name of Christ wherever we go.
