The Tradewater Boys

The Tradewater Boys was formed October 1, 2014 as an expression of our love for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and our deep roots in southern gospel music. We are located in the Madisonville, Dawson Springs, Kentucky area where the tradewater river flows, thus our name “The Tradewater Boys”. Our mission is to carry the Gospel through song to both the lost and the saved so long as the Lord will allow us until He calls us home. Our first year has been very exciting. The churches have opened their doors to us and the Lord continues to bless us as we travel. Dan Franklin is the new kid on the block singing tenor. Harold Toney began singing southern gospel music shortly after he was saved in 1974. Patrick Little has been involved in southern gospel music since he was a child. We are truly blessed and consider it a great honor to share the Gospel through song. |
Harold Toney
Harold Toney is the lead singer of the group. He sang tenor in the late 70's and early 80's with the Believer's Quartet, the Ken Johnson Trio, and Destiny. As job moves separated the boys of Destiny he prayed to the Lord that if He ever wanted Harold to sing southern gospel again He would send him some singers. Lo, and behold, 30 years later Dan and Pat appeared. God's timing is always perfect! As a retired CPA he looks forward to spending his remaining years fulfilling his calling.
Dan Franklin
Dan Franklin is from Dawson Springs, Kentucky and is the tenor singer for the group. He spent 10 years in the U.S. Army and retired from the Columbus, Georgia police department after almost 30 years of service. He relocated back to his home town after retirement where he was called to the singing ministry. It is Dan's hope that the Lord will give him 30 more years to sing for His glory.
Patrick Little
Patrick Little (the old man of the group as we call him) resides in Dawson Springs, Kentucky and is the baritone singer for the group. Patrick was born into a gospel music family in south Mississippi. He founded his first group at age 16 and they sang each Sunday morning on WSJC radio in Magee, Ms. He later sang with the Concords from Jackson, Ms. And was a gospel DJ at WJXN. After moving to Houston, Tx. He founded Wings of Gold which sang throughout Texas and Louisiana. In 2014 he and his wife moved back to Kentucky to her home place where he joined Harold and Dan in forming the Tradewater Boys.
