The name Wilburn has been a part of the music industry for several years. It seems as though when you mention this family, people recognize that you are talking about music. Not just any music, but Gospel Music, that is sang from the heart.
Wilburn&Wilburn is a new name but familiar faces. This father and son duo, combine a solid foundation of "Old School" with a flare of youthful presence to bring the message of Christ in a song.
Jonathan Wilburn has taken the stage with his family The Wilburns and Gold City Quartet. His tenure in Gospel music has brought him close to the heart of people from all ages. Jonathan states "Gospel Music is my way of telling people what Jesus means to me". You will definitely understand what he is talking about the moment you have the experience of watching this seasoned veteran perform. It seems as though the fans agree, for Jonathan has been nominated and voted America’s #1 lead vocalist five times by the subscribers of The Singing News magazine. "My goal was never set on winning any award. I just wanted to sing and pray God would use my efforts to bring a little joy to somebody". His singing started at a young age sitting beside his mother in church. Jonathan says "My greatest influence in singing was my mom (Elaine Wilburn)." "She sings alto like nobody else." After a long and fruitful time with his family group Jonathan became part of one of the most award winning Gospel groups of all time "Gold City Quartet". During his tenure of over 12 years this group experienced continued success with Jonathan as the group’s lead vocalist. Tim Riley says this about Jonathan, "He (Jonathan) is a Spirit filled singer with great energy on stage and I would recommend Wilburn&Wilburn for any church or promoter".
Jordan Wilburn is a new name for Gospel music but with his ability to present a song with conviction and honesty, this talented young man will be singing his way into your heart very soon. Jordan has been in and around Gospel music all of his life. Jonathan says, "Before Jordan was born I would put headphones on my wife’s stomach and play gospel music". So you guessed it, this boy was born singing. Jordan states, " I have always loved singing about the goodness of Jesus. My dad has always been my hero and I am looking forward to being up there with him every night doing what God has for us to do". Jordan will be finishing his history degree while on the road with his father. I believe America is ready for the fresh new talent of this dynamic singer. You will definitely be blessed by this new generation of Wilburns!
After years of prayer Wilburn&Wilburn are now on the road. They have a vision to bring fathers, sons, mothers, and daughters close again by expressing their love for one another through songs of faith and inspiration. Jonathan says, "God has a limitless supply of forgiveness and love. We just want to give families hope. God can take their problems and turn them into blessings!"
Wilburn&Wilburn bringing the message of Christ one song at a time.
His Heart Quartet
In November of 2010, God brought four central Kentucky men together to form a new male quartet called HIS HEART. The name is a result of the desire of these men to be seekers of God's heart and to share God's love to their audiences. Since 2010, the HIS HEART QUARTET has had the opportunity to sing with many southern gospels’ top groups, and in 2014, sang for Kentucky Governor, Steve Beshear, as part of the 100 year celebration at the Governor’s Mansion. Already with two Singing News charting songs, "Makin' A New Start," and "I Can Take You To The Place," this group has shown that they are sure to be a favorite artist for years to come. HIS HEART QUARTET sings at the Renfro Valley Entertainment Center from May thru October, hosting Monday's “Gospel Tonite” show, which as been called "Kentucky's Best Kept Secret," but that title is sure to change! Their mission statement is: Sharing GOD's LOVE from HIS HEART to yours, and in doing so, bringing lost souls to the salvation provided through Jesus Christ, and to bring reconciliation to those who have strayed from the fellowship of God. "We want our ministry to be an encouragement to everyone, Christians and the unsaved as well. The world as we know it, has a lot of strife and heartache. HIS HEART wants our concerts and music to be a place where people can be blessed and lifted up, and shown the opportunity to find a better way through Christ. “HIS HEART's style of music can only be defined as truly SOUTHERN GOSPEL. Their songs will bring out memories of their favorite quartets, as well as original music, to uplift the spirits of all who listen."
Hello! May I introduce myself and my family? My name is Mrs. Judith Montgomery, a Southern Gospel singer from Shoals, Indiana. This is my 20th year as a Professional Singer. Those who have known me since I started my ministry, or have met me along the way, now know that I am no longer a soloist. My family travels with me, and my daughter Megan, age 21, now sings with me. Graham, my 14 year old son, sings lead on a few songs now with Megan and I backing him up. Justin, our 6 year old son, cannot sing yet, but loves music! We also like to add one instrumental to each concert if time permits. We attend an Independent Community Church in Shoals, IN when we are not out ministering. When we come to minister, we bring our own sound equipment and a professional sound engineer, my husband, Marold, to give you high quality concerts. Our ministry is scheduled on a Free Will love offering basis.
My whole family and I love traveling and singing for the Lord! Look at the States our ministry has had the privilege of ministering in: IN, MI, OH, KY, TN, FL, IL, WI, MO, NC, and SC. I have also had the privilege to sing at the Capitol Building in Indianapolis leading the song God Bless America for the House of Representatives. I have also made live TV performances on Channel 42 (TBN) out of Greenwood, Indiana.
Last year, we traveled over 11,000 miles ministering for God and booked over 150 dates. Mostly, we sing 45 minute concerts in Churches, gymnasiums, or outdoors and in November and December, we sing Christmas concerts. Additionally, we have sung for Revivals, Weddings, Banquets, Fairs, Funerals, and special occasions.
I have recorded fourteen albums, which are available in our store. Eleven of these albums are Southern Gospel Music! The other three are Christmas albums.
Look at what God has done for me and my ministry!
